Want to meet Idina on her upcoming tour? Now's your chance! Enter to win a meet & greet space for you and a guest. For more information on how to enter, click "Read more".

If you are attending Idina's summer shows (see list below), you are eligible to enter for a meet & greet spot. The meet & greet will occur AFTER the show. We will be letting 3 public fans and 3 fan club members into the meet & greet and each person can bring 1 guest (a total of 12 people).

To enter, please email the following info to idinateam@gmail.com (please make sure the city/date you want to enter for is in the subject line).

- Full Name
- username on the boards/website
- Full name of your guest
- Your Age & Age of your guest
- Did you pre-order your fan club membership? If yes, please attach your receipt.*

*You will need to provide your ticket receipt to prove you pre-ordered your fan club membership. Otherwise you will just be entered into the public meet & greet drawing.

Only fans WITH tickets will be able to get into the meet & greet. If you are a fan club member (ie pre-ordered your membership as part of the ticket pre-sales), you are not only entered for the public meet & greet, but are also entered as a fan club member. That basically means that you have double the odds of wining a space in the meet & greet. If you don't have tickets, you won't be able to enter. ** If you are going to multiple shows, please send separate emails for each show.**

Jul 20, 2008 - Cary, NC - Koka Booth Amphitheater
Jul 21, 2008 - Charlotte, NC - McGlohon Theatre
Jul 23, 2008 - Richmond, VA - The National Buy
Jul 25, 2008 - Ft Lauderdale, FL - Parker Playhouse
Jul 26, 2008 - Orlando, FL - House of Blues Orlando
Jul 27, 2008 - Tampa, FL - Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center

You will have until Friday, July 11th to enter (6pm pst / 9pm est). Fans will be chosen at random. Only one entry per person!!! Fan club members only need to send one email as well. They will automatically get sorted into both public and fan club drawings. If you send in more than one entry for the same show, it will not be counted.

The winners of the meet & greets will most likely be selected on Monday, July 14th. After that date, you will receive an email notification stating if you were selected for a meet & greet spot. Winners will get all the information about the meet & greet, what to do at the show, etc at that time. Should you not receive that email, usernames will also be posted on the message board here.

The meet & greets for the remaining tour dates will be posted in a couple weeks. Keep checking www.idinamenzel.com for more information

hey,
are there going to be more tour dates on the east coast? cuz, she never came to mass. or rhode island. i know that everyone else in connecticut would travel there if she didn't have another date in CT.

ROXANNE!!!!!

The ATL concert was the BEST. CONCERT. EVER!!!!! So inspiring, and so REAL. The pack that allowed Idina to hear the different music in her ear fell off, and she got a little frustrated, but she was so amazing. (Oh Roxanne, poor prostitute. :P) Idina got really hot toward the beginning (come on, it's Georgia) and asked for a scrunchie. I was toward the middle of the amphitheatre, so I couldn't give it to her, but I was SO about to run all to way to the front to give her my scrunchie. :P And then, these people kept going up to the stage and giving her stuff. It was crazy. But she actually brought me to tears during her performance of "Brave". It was beautiful, and the stories that she tells are amazing. And we were outside in this park, and just when the sun went down, the sky was clear and the stars were shining and the moon rose just above the stage. It was an amazing view. There were a few technical problems during the show, which I can COMPLETELY understand considering my work backstage for community and college theatre. I just keep rambling about this concert...can you tell I just had the best night EVER?! And when she sang the songs from her broadway shows...really moving and wonderful. I feel EXRTREMELY lucky to have been able to see her perform these songs and every other song. Just to be in her presence and enjoy her warm, welcoming, and laid-back personality was a treasure! Thank you SO MUCH, Idina!! And seriously, don't sweat the little things that happened last night. I promise that nobody asked for their money back. ;) The audience, especially me, enjoyed themselves thoroughly. My ticket was the best birthday present I could have asked for. You are inspiring, and I wish you the best of luck as you continue your tour to inspire more people across the country.

Hahaha I was wondering what was on it. I saw you give it to her, and then later she held it up and was looking at it and smiled. Very cool. I wish I could have gotten closer. I didn't know if the people would let me walk up to the stage though. It was such a good concert!

I was there too! It was just a beautiful night! Not to mention a life changing experience just to be IN the presence of Idina. Where were you coming from for the concert? I was coming from the Gulf Coast of MS. So moving and touching and inspirational!!! I thought it was funny how she thought that no one down here would think that she knew who she was. OF COURSE WE KNOW WHO IDINA IS!!!! I hope she tours again down South soon. We want more!!! (especially the MS, New Orleans area!!!).

South of ATL

I came from Macon, GA which is about 1 hr and 30 mins south of ATL. I can't believe you drove all that way! But I'm sure it was definitely worth it. I wish I could go back and be at her concert all over again! When she said she didn't know if we'd know her, I was like, "I KNOW YOU. You've only been one of my favorite performance artists for, like, YEARS!" I'm so glad she came!

Atlanta concert

It was awesome!!!! She was very hilarious! She felt bad that there were so many mishaps that happened. Something about the mic thingy-- she said it happened at the Nashville concert as well. The best part, I think, which is really not that great, but she sang the song "For Good" but forgot the words. She was asking all of us what they were. I feel that she also got real emotional at some points (during "Where Do I Begin" and while she was telling the story of her sister). Her "RENT" medley just really rocked!!! We all were just singing along with her. This really was the best thing that could ever happen to me--though it could've been better (oh to win a M&G!!!). My life is now full and complete! All thanks to the one and only Idina Menzel!!!

Idina's Nashville performance

Let me start off by saying WOW! Last night's show was amazing! I haven't seen a show that good since Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill, Acoustic" tour at Ryman Auditorioum (Glenn Ballard does it again). As an employee of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (last night's venue) I can usually get free tickets to anything, but for this show, I didn't even try. I WANTED to pay for the ticket because I really want Idina to succeed as a recording artist. And it was money well spent! To be able to sit 3rd row center & see a woman who, along with Jonathan Larson & the original cast of "Rent", completely changed the way I viewed the world & myself 12 years ago, was a truly spiritual experience for me. That voice sent chills throughout my entire body. Absolutely breath-taking!

Idina, thank you so much for gracing Nashville, TN with your presence. In case you were still wondering, we absolutely DO know who you are down here, and those who didn't (like my girlfriend) DEFINITELY know who you are now! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

P.S. - You're frickin' hilarious! Waaaay funnier than that chick you shut down last night! No one sasses Elphaba!

Last Nights Concert!

hello everyone. wow. i went to the concert last night and had an AMAZING time. it was a great concert. her opening act was really good. he lasted like thirty minutes but then she came on and it was SO MUCH FUN!she sang most her album song and if you think she sounds good on an album, well she sounds 16934629304834983 times better live. she told us alot of stories that were hilarious. but right when she came on stage her little like monitor thing or whatever she called it, got all messed up and so the guy had to come out and fix it and she was like lifting up her shirt and laughing. it was fun. then she told the story about her sister and then her wedding singer days. she even brought her like wedding singer dress and she like half put it on. then she was just like talking to us and someone in the audience was like MOO WITH ME! and so idina did a little bit of her RENT part. and it was SO funny. and then she was like talking about wicked and someone was like At Least You didnt Fall Threw A Trap Door! so then she told us that story and it was very cute. then she said she wanted to sing us a thankyou song for coming and seeing her so she sang For Good. but she kept asking us what the next words were and stuff so then she asked us to sing with her so the whole audience sang for good with idina and it was fun. then she left but we cheered non stop and she came back and sang defying gravity and it was so pretty.

Meet & Greet
the meet and greet was amazing. we waited in the lobby of the theater for about twenty minutes then all twleve of us were escorted into the dressing room areas and into this little room and we all kind of stoood there but then she came in and it was amazing. she walked up to everyone and signed something and took a picture. and she spent like 2-3 minutes with every Two people and she talked to you about something, like where your from or your outfit or something and she was so nice. i was in shock. then she had to say goodbye and it was alot of fun. best day ever!
