....A live CD. I am really enjoying the new EP with the live versions of songs, and I have been catching your concerts on YouTube. One of my very favorite CDs by Sean Colvin (also produced by Glen Ballard) is her Live '88 and her more recent concert cd. You have such amazing live presence....I bet it would do well.

Also, i wanted to thank you for your amazing version of Funny Girl on Glee...such a wonderful performance.

If you REALLY want to meet her, leave for the stagedoor during her encore performance. I know that you won't want to leave during her last song, but people flock to the stagedoor like vultures.

stage door!

I am soooo excited to see Idina at the Wolftrap DC concert! I've been counting down the days ever since the concert was announced! I am a HUGE fan of hers and would love for her to sign something at the stage door after the show. From your experiences, has it been really crazy there? How long after the show ends does she usually come out? I'm asking cause I am on a time crunch but would love to get her signature! Thanks!!!!

Stage door

I went to the Dallas concert and it took about an hr before she came out. She wanted to thank all those who were apart of the concert before she left. It was kinda crazy my suggestion is to get there as early as possible, and don't be afriad to tell people not to cut. she only signs as many as she can thats until she gets to her car. now beware if the crowed get to crazy she will wait till every one leaves. Good luck. I got her to sign my program and she wished me a happy birthday. I turned 22 that night. it was awsome.

I was lucky enough meet her after the concert in Pittsburgh, but it was unbelievably crazy. We all waited a good 40 minutes after the show before she came out, and the street and sidewalk were PACKED with people. There were also security guards who made a bunch of people leave. By some random stroke of fate I was shoved up to the front and I got to get autographs and such. If you REALLY want to meet her, leave for the stagedoor during her encore performance. I know that you won't want to leave during her last song, but people flock to the stagedoor like vultures.

Heinz Hall

I saw Idina perform at Heinz Hall last night and she was amazing! Her singing was wonderful! I was truly on the edge of me seat the entire night. She is so funny too! The stories she told between songs were hilarious. I was able to get her autograph at the stage door after the concert, but I didn't really get to speak with her because it was crazy! I am already planning to see her in Cincinnati. If you get the chance to see her go! She is WONDERFUL!

If she is going to be in your city you will want to go. She was absolutely PHENOMINAL last night. Having never seen her in person before it definetly was better than I ever could have imagined. AMAZING pretty much sums up the show. With HILARIOUS stories and UNBELIEVABLE vocals she can't go wrong... not everyone can belt out with enough power to be audible without a mic.. it seemed like everyone was holding their breath while she sang because it was silent, which only added to the atmosphere for that amazing moment. Best money ever spent, can't wait for her to return...Ill be sure to be there.

i too, just got back from the heinz hall performance. it was BEYOND phenomenal. i did end up getting some great pictures and leaving with an autograph as well. i spent the past year working with the pittsburgh symphony through a musical apprenticeship i received through my school. seeing idina perform with some amazing musicians that i have become really close with was simply amazing. that was the best $60 i ever spent(:

Idina at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh

Just got home from such an AMAZING show. I took my mom and while we had standing room seats, it was 110% worth it!!! I came home with an autograph and unfortunately my cell phone froze up while she was RIGHT IN FRONT of me signing, so I didn't get a good picture, but I can't express the words to describe how phenomenal her performance was. She's even more beautiful in person, too :D

Shes even prettier in person. anddd i dont know what else to write but she signed my rent dvd. so did taye diggs. and im sure my musical soulmate will eventually be reading this at some point since she never gets off of this site. so i hope it makes her laugh while she remembers all the crazy things we had to go through for a signature :)and every single thing that happened was completely and entirely worth it. i wouldnt change a single thing..not even the rude guy in front of us telling us to shut up. lol

i saw idina on Thursday with the Philadelphia orchestra at the mann center, it was amazing. I literally cried in my seat because i was so happy. it was amazing. at one point, she was talking about parties, then she started off a song by saying "this is about a girl who probably didn't get invited to many parties" then like, 20 or so girls screamed (including me) so pretty much everybody else in the audience looks confused (they had only played about 2 notes when all this happened) so i look over to my mom and my best friend and im like "WICKED!!! I'm not that girl!!!!"

That would be SO Cool if Idina made it to Toledo !! I am a HUGE fan of RENT aka RENThead...... It would be just Amazing to see Idina perform live. The Stranahan theater or the Valentine would both be nice venues. Adam Pascal performed at the Valentine a few years ago.... I am really hoping for a Revival of RENT and maybe having More of the OBC joining the tour.... Like Adam and Anthony did on the last tour...

Idina please read: your talent and grace is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I got the chance to see Idina perform last week with the Dallas Symphony orchestra and I cannot describe to you just how phenomenal she was. I have loved her for so many years and have always prayed to get to see her live but she had never come to Texas til now. I must say that it was a dream come true. Sitting in the concert hall watching her, I could feel that I was witnessing something truly amazing. There are few moments in life that you realize just how truly breathtaking life can be, and watching her sing was one of those rare moments that honestly took my breath away. She played to a sold-out crowd yet made everyone feel included...even us who were actually seated behind her. She has this presence on stage that is truly unique and not to mention she is HILARIOUS!! I of course loved all her classics but wished she could have sang more than just one song from her cd. She messed up at one point but stopped joked and then played it off like a true pro. One of the most mesmerizing moments was when she sang "For Good" accapella with no mic or music...the whole room fell silent to hear her single voice resonate through the wonderful sound of the Meyerson. Everyone felt as though they were truly in the presence of greatness. She came back for not one but two encores and was given multiple standing ovations. It was unreal. So to you Idina- thank you for being the light for all of us in this world. You give me a hope and a belief in something great. Watching you was truly a joy and something I will remember always. Your music is timeless and has touched my life in an incocievable way. I listen to it daily and it gets keeps me going strong. I am forever a fan.

Dallas Show

Saw Idina at the Dallas Symphony show this evening, and well, it was MAGNIFICENT. I left with the same lightness and awe that I felt when I left the theater after seeing Rent in '96. Tonight I brought my 11 year old daughter--a true fan and budding performer herself, and the common thread of both of us loving it so much was truly a gift. 3 encores later and the sold out crowd was still begging for more. It was a magical evening I will not soon forget...much like the one at the Nederlander so long ago. Thank you, Idina, for putting on an amazing and delightful show this evening. I'm still jazzed up. You have a voice for the ages, and your on stage banter was lovely. Come back soon!

Woohoo to NJ gig!

I booked a holiday to NYC for October not realising that there was a gig at the beginning so was gutted when realised would miss it! (I arrive 3 days later) However NJ gig now day before my birthday and day before I return back to the UK has made my day!! Now to pray I can get tickets!
