awesomeness!

I ordered Chess and my mom was all, "are you serious? It's called CHESS" and I was like, "Mother, Idina Menzel is in it, I am getting that DVD." so of course, I did. And it took amazon forever to ship it and then I finally got it and I watched and it was awesomeness, although I don't think my nine year old sister should have watched it with me, because she keeps wanting to play the part where Florence is talking to Molokov and says, "I was only five when you bastards...etc." and the song, "Florence Quits" and the part when Adam sings, "Where's daddy? Dead or in the KGB?" and it's really weird that she loves those parts so much. I asked her why she liked the part with Idina talking to Molokov and she said, "I just like they way she says it." and I was like, "ok..." yeah, but anyway, it was awesome!

ayaaaayyy i got my copy of Chess!!! I'm watching it for like the third time already because you can never get tired of how well Idina performs!! and the music is amazing too!!!

Got my Copy of Chess :-)

It's actually pretty cool :-) One booklet of the sheet music and then a three-CD case with the two CDs and then the DVD. Very compact and awesome

Chess! Wow!

Chess was simply amazing! It was on PBS here (Indianapolis) on June 17th from 1:00 - 3:30 a.m. I actually stayed up and watched the whole thing! How could I not? I've waited so long to see it. I loved it! Ironically, I saw Wicked that same night, and then I came home and got to see Chess! Wicked is here in Indianapolis right now. That was one great evening!

Simply Amazing....Idina .....Josh ....and Adam !!!! With the right director and producres could be a smash on Broadway and another Tony for Ms.Menzel !

A great performance indeed! Idina in hi-def and stunning 7.1 surround sound... nothing could be better. The close-ups were terrific!

Forgot to mention...

I loved Idina's little laugh in "Mountain Duet". Also in "Endgame", I noticed it was in that scene where Idina said she got lost backstage and was late in getting onstage. You can hear her singing for around 5 secs. before she hurriedly appears on stage right. ;-)

Wow Idina, you did it again!

Wow, Chess was absolutly outstanding. God what a great show! :))) I wish I was there in London when they shot it! Idina, I hope you read this, but I think you are the most spectacular lady in the world! (Sorry Kristin, but your second!)

Chess!!

Holy Crap!!! I knew almost absolutly nothing about Chess but I just watched it on PBS, and dude!!! That was AMAZING!! Idina did soooooooo good and I was really happy that I got to see her, Josh Groben, Adam Pascal, and Kerry Elis all together!! Truly unbelieveable :)

k i checked that website and typed in where i live and chose charter and i went through everything thats playin tonigght and tomorrow and chess is not on there. at all.

My roomate and I are watching Chess in Concert on PBS right now!!!! We don't know much about it but we LOVE Idina and are currently spellbound!!

I live in Southern California & have Charter too. TV Guide says it's supposed to be on @ 8:00 pm tonight and goes til 10:30 pm on PBS. I hope u can find it. :)

Southern California - Charter TV

Input your local settings. Chess is on KLRN today 6/17 @ 6:00 PM. There are other showtimes for the next couple of days but it's not primetime. Unfortunately, Chess is not on KCET nor KOCE.

ok...help?

i checked those channels for the west coast on the 17th and 18th and nothing is playing at eight nor nine PM involving anything Chess related at all. its all adverttising stuff for commercials. and i checked the 3 PBS stations i get. any help?

It's definitely on the 18th in the West Coast

PBS KQED stations @ 8:00 PM PDT. The TV guide shows "Great Performances" (will show Chess if your guide has more info).

I just checked my TVGuide to make sure Chess was still on for the 17th at 8, and for those of you who can't find it on your tvguide-its their-its just listed under "Great Performances" not "Chess". I live in the US so idk what it would be called in like the UK or something but thats just the way it is on TVGuide.

No offence, but I find it slightly insulting that it should be aired in the US, before the UK despite everything being done at the Royal Albert Hall which is, after all, in LONDON! So does anyone know whether it will be on the TV in this country, or is it only available for DVD?!

I definitely agree over these last few years, a lot of health conscious families and individuals have been searching for alternative routes for more nutritious diets. I live in San Francisco area, although the economy is not as Oyun portalı robust as before, but when I go to farmers markets, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, there are still a good amount of people shopping there all the time.
