We are excited to announce that Idina will be doing her very first television special! She will be performing April 14th at Rose Hall in New York and we'll be taping the show to air on PBS sometime this summer. We want to give you the chance to participate in the special event! Tickets are not available for purchase, but registered members of idinamenzel.com will be able to enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets starting Tuesday, April 1st.*

In order to enter, send an email to idinateam@gmail.com, and please include the following information:
-Full Name
-Date of birth
-Address
-Username on idinamenzel.com

25 entrants will be chosen at random, and notified via email. We hope you'll enter, and good luck!

*Must be 13 years or older, US resident, and provide own transportation to/from the show - 1 pair per person, no purchase necessary. Emails submitted BEFORE April 1st or AFTER April 7th will not be eligible. the contest ends on April 7th and winners will be notified on/after that date. Picture ID will be required to pick tickets up at will call.

hey did anyone here about the birthday project

Did anyone hear bout the birthday project for idina. i found out about this on idina-here.com( SB)so beautiful, and they were talking about each member or anyone who wanted to particapate had to like make a music video or somethin. I thought it was really cool.oh and u had to start like I STAND FOR... sleeping in for example. hope u find it and help us!!! this could really make idina's day!

Well

I haven't heard of that birthday project but I heard on Idina's official message board about another one. You're supposed to make a scrapbook page for her just saying happy birthday and say encouraging stuff and add pictures of you and stuff you're holding of hers. But the deadline is April 15th, so that's really soon. I'm not sure if I'll get my page out in time!

This is riddiculous! i just read that the leading roles for the movie are rumored to be Beyonce as Aida and CRISTINA AGUILARA AS AMNERIS - THIS IS RIDDICULOUS HOW CAN THEY EVEN CONSIDER THIS? Christina is a good singer, but not for broadway and especialy not as Amneris - She CAN NOT EVEN COMPETE with IDINA i'm in shock i hope that the rumor is wrong - Idina would be amazing and would put her name out there some more - WHAT IS THIS LIKE CELEB POP VERSION OF AIDA!!!

They also thought that it was going to be a celeb pop version of RENT but it didn't turn out to be that way. If they do put these celebrities in the movie, it is only because Christina Aguilara, for instance, is much more famous than Idina. Regardless of who is better, they will make more money if they have Beyonce and Christina Aguilara. I'm just seeing it through they eyes of a Hollywood producer. I do HOPE Idina gets the part, though! That would be great!

I just read something like that. I really wasn't thinkin of anything like money at the time( i wonder why)LOL. I didn't care much about beyonce bein in the movie i just thought about the part idina played in. I do really really believe that idina deserves this part in the movie. What a wae to see through a producers eyes. For minute it's almost like u were.lol

why would anybody want christina Aguilara to be amneris when idina is better. I do agree she is a great singer but one question... have she ever acted before?? I mean Idina would be great for the part she can act sing and is very funny. Rumors can really get to u i totally hope that these rumors are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong!!!

1.ITS SO TERRIBLE! I had bought my tickets for the June 17th Chicago performance! Unfortunately, I will not be able to see her live. But i thought she was leaving for good! So its great to hear that shes just moving casts. Who will be replacing her in Chicago?

I'm in Britain and as such have very little opportunity to see Idina in concert, or for that matter see Idina in anything at all.
I wish she would do more in Britain, but having said that, I understand she has a life too, and is doing Chess in May, so maybe I should be glad she's doing that much. More than some people would.
